Connecticut Leadership Empowerment Action Project (ConnLeap)

Presented by the Connecticut Association for Human Services (CAHS)

(In collaboration with the Hartford Area Child Care Collaborative, with financial support from the William Casper Gaustein Memorial Fund)

The 2009 CONNLEAP Course is scheduled to start this September.

Would you like to,

• Be more informed about the most important early childhood issues that affect parents and professionals  
• Develop leadership skills
• Strengthen your ability to speak and advocate for better working conditions for early childhood professionals
• Learn what it takes to develop support for quality child care
• Become a member of a network working toward positive outcomes for children and families.

The college-credit course is open to 15-20 parents and/or early care providers statewide. There is the option for Bachelors and Masters level credits issued by Eastern Connecticut State University. Course will be held in the Meriden area, with the option of child care for those in need.
